Each PTQ package also contains a number of novelty questions. These are very different to straight question and answer rounds and help keep your quiz night interesting. Examples include:
This is a task for players to complete during the night. For example, Name that Actor, Solve These Clues, What Car is This, Unscramble These Names, Name That Flag and so on.
Usually the Tonight's Task is only used in the event of a tie as its main role is to keep players occupied between rounds. However, you can use it how you wish, maybe even including it as part of the quiz night or having a separate prize.
As part of the package, we suggest you use this questions for bonus points. It includes six clues, one for each round. A new clue is offered at the end of each round with the number of bonus points a team can win falling with each additional clue. For example, the first clue might start "I was born in ..." and be worth 6 points. Teams only get one answer so if they get it wrong they get zero points. It then becomes a gamble whether or not to guess the answer or to wait for more clues. There are multiple topics for this question including: Who Am I, Where in the World and What Am I.
Included in the package are three really hard questions, which can be used to run a jackpot system (see host tips) or however you wish.
